Brief conversation with Hershberger’s crew during site visit.
Key Points
Siding Progress
- West and north walls 100% complete
- Front and south walls in progress; upper gable sections remaining
- Completion expected tomorrow (January 2)
Stone Panel Issue
- One stone panel arrived cracked
- Could not complete stone column work today
- Crew will pick up replacement panel tomorrow and finish stone section
Exterior Outlet Accommodation
- Crew will leave a gap in the siding for an exterior outlet
- Location: Above the stone siding, between entry door and third bay garage door
- Electrician (SLS Electric) will install outlet in this prepared opening
Electrical Fixtures
- Electrician will install soffit fixtures and lights (not the framing crew)
- Coordinates with SLS Electric scope of work
Cleanup Plan
- Crew renting a dumpster to clean up scrap materials after build is completed
- Owner requested to collect useful scraps for spare building materials before disposal
- Crew agreed — less work for them and materials won’t be wasted

- January 2: Siding completion + stone panel replacement
- January 6: Garage door and opener installation (final task)
