Description
The first of two ceiling boxes for the drop-down cord reels, mounted to the ceiling framing near the center of the garage, between the garage doors. These positions put a retractable cord reel within reach of the bays on either side. A garage-door opener rail is visible running below the box.
This was part of the 5 remaining ceiling boxes installed this visit (3 garage-door-opener boxes + 2 cord-reel boxes). Box is mounted; wiring/devices and the reels themselves come later.
Status: box installed, not yet wired
Box mounted this visit; NM-B home run, device, and the cord reel itself are still to come. Treat as de-energized.
