Description

Two 1” conduit penetrations through the house basement block wall, now sealed and foamed in place with expanding foam sealant. These are the house-side terminations of the two 1” conduits that run underground from the house to the garage. The conduits enter through the foundation wall and are surrounded by generous amounts of gray/brown expanding foam to seal against moisture and air infiltration. The conduit ends are open and not yet capped or sealed. A yellow cable (likely gas line or communication wire) is visible running above the penetrations. The photo was taken in a dark basement environment looking at the wall penetration area.
