Description

The 200A Eaton main panel for the garage, fully installed and operational with breakers in place. The panel is fed by the underground feeder wire from the house and serves as the central distribution point for all garage electrical circuits. The panel has extensive capacity for future circuit additions as the owner completes DIY electrical rough-in.

Visible Elements

  • Panel: Eaton 200A load center with cover open, mounted on exposed OSB wall sheathing
  • Breakers: Several breakers installed in the lower portion of the panel — serving current circuits (interior GFCI, exterior GFCI, soffit lights, generator inlet)
  • Available space: Majority of breaker slots empty — ample capacity for planned DIY circuits (lift, compressor, welder, EV/auxiliary, lighting circuits, mini-split, loft subpanel)
  • Main breaker: 200A main breaker visible at top of panel
  • Feeder conduit: Gray PVC conduit entering from below carrying the underground feeder wire from the house
  • Panel labels: Factory specification label and circuit directory visible on door interior
  • Wall condition: Exposed OSB sheathing and framing — pre-drywall

Notes

The panel was physically mounted during the March 31 visit. Current active breakers serve the circuits installed by SLS Electric. The remaining slots will be populated by the owner during the DIY electrical rough-in phase for all branch circuits documented in the Electrical Planning design doc.
