Description

The third and last vehicle-bay ceiling light box (Bay 1) — a 4” square metal box on its F-bracket cross-member with mud ring, fed by yellow 12-ga NM-B running in from the right. This completes the set of three bay ceiling boxes (Bays 1–3).

Code item to correct: NM-B not secured within 12" of the box

Like the bay 3 box, the cable here is not stapled within 12 inches of the box (NEC 334.30). Owner-acknowledged as a miss from the short session — to be corrected on the staple pass: secure each cable within 12” of the box and at ≤4’-6” intervals along the run. Tracked in To-Do.
