Description

First full lighting test with all 15 garage floor lights lit at once. The Barrina LED shop lights are mounted temporarily to the bottom of the loft-floor trusses until drywall goes up; they’ll be remounted on the finished ceiling later.

Layout: 3 rows of 5 linked lights (15 total). Each row plugs into its own switched ceiling outlet — three ceiling lighting outlets in all — and all three are controlled together by the garage-floor-lights 3-way (the stairwell ↔ entry-door 3-way documented the same day). Flip the switch and all three rows energize at once. (Of the 20 Barrina lights ordered, 15 are up here with 5 in reserve.)

Brightness verdict: the garage is well lit. Conor — the “occasional apprentice” — flipped the switch and described it as “being flashbanged” — surprisingly, almost video-game-grenade bright. For a workshop where you want to see what you’re doing on a vehicle, that’s the target hit.
